New Home Warranty Program Information

 

Anderson Homes takes pride in the quality of the homes we build. A Quality Assurance Inspection is conducted on each home prior to completion in order to ensure our best product is delivered to you. Before attending your closing, you will meet with your builder/sales team for a Home Orientation Tour. This allows you to check the quality of work, ask any questions, and understand how to fully operate items in your new home.

 

New Home Warranty

 

Warranty periods can vary depending on components in the home. Most components are covered against failure and manufacturer defects for one year. For a complete listing of warranty coverage, please refer to your Residential Warranty Corporation (RWC) manual. Items that typically show wear and tear such as paint, mirrors, and floor coverings, and items requiring maintenance such as grass, shrubs, and trees are excluded from your warranty coverage. Major structural elements are covered by the Residential Warranty Corporation (RWC) Limited Warranty for ten years. During the sales process this program is explained in detail. Once you’ve settled into your new home, we encourage you to contact our New Home Warranty team with any questions or concerns. You may contact us by phone, email, or web form for assistance. We can also help you understand homeowner maintenance items and/or answer specific warranty questions.

In An Emergency

 

We are here to assist with all your needs and want you to be prepared to protect your investment in an emergency. Please refer to your Vital Information Sheet for immediate access to your Plumber, Heating and Air provider and Electrician. Your builder will affix this form to a location of your choice during your Home Orientation Walk. Contact your subcontractor directly before calling the New Home Warranty department.

 

6 - Month Inspection

 

You will receive notification for your (six) 6-month inspection approximately 4 months after closing. Please keep a list of non-emergency repairs or adjustments to be addressed at the time of your inspection.

 

1-Year Drywall Inspection

 

Anderson Homes offers a free drywall repair to all homeowners. During your home orientation tour, you will receive the drywall repair request form. You may submit signed forms by mail or fax after one year and no later than two years after closing. You will not be notified to schedule this repair. The drywall repair is optional and offered on a one-time basis only.
